Private functions
The Cricket Club function room is available to hire for all occasions. This facility has to work around the cricket matches during the season and limits the availability to Friday nights for parties and functions, out of season all weekends are a possibility.
The room is suitable for numbers up to 120 depending on the event and is all on one level, with at least 40 parking spaces. We have a large terraced area along the front with outside seating, which is perfect during the summer months.
Oswestry Cricket Club provides their own catering service and is happy to discuss your needs with lots of menus to choose from. Click on the menus below for a choice of delicious hot and cold food.
We are proud to offer a very well stocked bar with a choice of good wines and local Real Ales from the Stone House Brewery.

We have carefully selected a good variety of buffet food which is all prepared in our Local Authority Inspected Kitchen in compliance with E.U. Regulations, and we are pleased to announce that we have recently gained the coveted 5 star hygiene award from the Shropshire County Council food hygiene inspection
All selections can be altered to suit your requirements, but this may alter the price. We may also add extra toppings to sandwiches etc if numbers are over 60.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Catering at our Pavilion is usually only available for 50 people and over, depending on the event.
The quality of our catering depends on every event being planned separately, so once food has been ordered, numbers agreed prior to this will be charged for. If we are not informed of extra guests, we can’t be responsible for shortages of food at the event.
We require conformation of numbers a week before the date of booking.
CANCELLATION
When a booking is confirmed we arrange staff and kitchen time for that funcation, therefore cancellation charges apply. The minimum amount is 10%. This will increase to 50% within 2 weeks of the event and 100% within a week.
PAYMENT
Our room hire starts from just £50+ VAT (£60.00) however this will vary with the size of the function, and the length of time the room is required for. A small deposit is required to confirm your booking; all other invoices will be issued and charged for on or before the event. Any invoice given after the event must be paid in full that week.
